India again showed generosity, released Chinese soldier captured from Ladakh

India handed over the Chinese soldier caught in Ladakh to the Chinese authorities, who were captured by the Indian Army from the area south of Pangong Lake on 8 January.

New Delhi: India handed over the Chinese soldier caught in Ladakh to the Chinese authorities at 10 am on Monday (January 11). Let me tell you that on 8 January, in the midst of the deadlock between China and India in East Ladakh, Indian Army caught a Chinese soldier from the area south of Pangong Lake. The Chinese soldier was questioned under the protocol made between the two countries, although Lena has not given any information regarding this yet.

India-China dispute going on for 8 months

Explain that the dispute over the Line of Actual Control (LAC) between India and China started in May last year, when China raised objections towards the construction of road in the Galvan Valley of Aksai Chin in Ladakh. On May 5, a military standoff broke out after a violent skirmish between the Indian Army and Chinese troops. After this, Chinese soldiers also got involved with Indian soldiers at Nathu La in Sikkim on 9 May, in which many soldiers were injured.

India clearly says Chinese soldiers should go to the place before April 2020. This is going to be the fourth such meeting to reduce the tension on the Line of Actual Control since May. Let me tell you that the last meeting was held on 24 July.
